Summer workout for Dial

Plans for Dial’s 2025/26 pre-season schedule are close to being finalised, with seven friendlies already confirmed.

After narrowly missing out on promotion last season, Dial will begin their pre-season campaign with a trip to newly-promoted Combined Counties Football League Premier Division North (step 5) side Windsor & Eton on 8 July 2025.

The squad (incl. triallists) will then travel to Wessex Football League Division One (step 6) side Cove on 12 July, before Steve Brown will assemble a strong squad to take on Combined Counties Football League Premier Division South (step 5) sides Knaphill , at Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre, on 19 July and Guildford City on 22 July.

Dial will then pit their wits against Sheerwater, who have made a resurgence under manager TJ Barbato, at Eastwood Leisure Centre on 26 July, after which Brown will select a squad to play 2024/25 Surrey Premier County Football League (step 7) Premier Challenge Cup finallists Keens Park Rangers, now under the managerial guidance of Luke Simmonds, on 2 August.

Brown will then take a side to play Beacon Hill of the Surrey County Intermediate League (Western) Premier Division (step 8) on 9 August in what will be Dial's penultimate fixture before returning to Alwyns Lane on 16 August for the final friendly (TBC).

The pre-season schedule may be subject to change. Kick-off times and match venues will be confirmed on the Dial Square website and social channels nearer to the time. Fixtures showing an A and/or N will be played at the opposition's ground or a neutral (e.g., 3G) venue.
