Dial will be hoping conclude their Surrey Premier County Football League campaign on a high this evening (22 April) against Laleham at Redding Way. 7:30pm k.o.
Due to the absence of floodlights at Laleham's recreation ground, the match was switched to Redding Way - Dial's new home from the 2026/27 season - to ensure the match could be played.
With promotion to step 6 of the National League System secured back on 6 April, Dial boss Steve Brown will be looking for his side to bounce back from two straight (2-1) defeats to help build momentum ahead of next week's county cup final against Worcester Park.
However, with Laleham hovering just one place above the relegation zone, The Blues know they need just one win from their remaining three games to preserve their Premier Division (step 7) status for next season, with Bagshot all but relegated and AFC Royal Holloway in a precarious position.
Fixtures between the two clubs have never be short of goals, with Dial losing and drawing one of the past five league meetings, and chipping in with 15 goals (out of 24 scored). The two clubs last met back in September (2025), with a brace from Harry Rice registering a 2-0 win for Dial at Alwyns Lane.
With five wins, five draws and 13 defeats, it's been a difficult season for Laleham following their promotion from the Surrey Intermediate County League (Western) Premier Division last season. Like Dial, they will also be looking to see out the season on a high.
Dial will be without influential midfielder George Frith for the remainder of the season after he hobbled off against Richmond & Kew last week with a suspected knee problem. Charlie Marshall is also sidelined with a hip issue, while Matt Hayes turned his angle in warm-up against Kew to add to Brown's growing injury woes after losing captain Zac Hawker in January.
Aidan Doran, Ross Ewen, Callum Abraham-Barlow and Matt Bunyan, who turned 40 yesterday (21 April), are also unavailable for selection. However, tenacious winger Jordan Carter is expected to return to the squad following a one-match absence due to running the Brighton marathon.
Speaking to DialSquareFC.com on Tuesday (21 April), Brown said: "Games between us and Laleham have always been competitive and produced goals, and I don't expect this fixture to be any different given where they are in the table.
"Frithy [George Frith] will be a big miss for us over the next two games, but we have a strong squad of players and it's important that we see out the [league] season on a high to help prepare us mentally for next week's county cup final," he added.
