"After almost 3 years as Chairman of Dial Square Football Club Ltd, the time has come for me to step down from this role.
I do not take this decision lightly and it’s taken some serious consideration, but now, for many reasons, it’s the right time for me to hand the reigns to someone else.
As per my programme notes last Saturday, Tony Hurley will be stepping up as Chairman (from Vice-Chairman) and will continue the hard work and dedication that I’ve shown towards the role during the last few years, to ensure the club remains on the same upward trajectory.
I will still remain as a Director and major shareholder and will ensure the project doesn’t falter, but this is as a good time as any to point out that any fan-owner or person heavily invested in this venture, that now is the time to show your support more than ever. It will be very important for the future of the football club.
The club will soon release an article on our new Chairman, which will give a good insight into Tony Hurley and how it’s in great hands".
