DIAL AGREE NEW GROUNDSHARE

New era for Dial

Dial Square is delighted to announce a new three-year groundshare agreement with Combined Counties Football League Premier Division South side Knaphill.

The new deal at Brookwood Country Park Football Ground (Redding Way) will commence from the 2026/27 season and is designed to be mutually beneficial for both clubs.

It comes a week after Dial managed to secure a top-five place in the Surrey Premier County Football League to gain promotion to step 6 of the National League System (NLS) – part of the English football league pyramid.

Knaphill, who narrowly missed out on the play-offs at step 5 of the NLS, recently received confirmation that their Brookwood Country Park Football Ground complies with The FA's step 5 ground grading criteria. It now means that they're eligible to gain promotion to step 4 of the NLS if they finish in a promotion winning place next season.

It’s Dial's third groundshare since the club was formed in 2020, after one full season at Addlestone Moor (3G) and three seasons at Alwyns Lane. The new groundshare with Knaphill means that Dial will be able to fulfil at least a 77% uplift in home fixtures at step 6 compared to this season.

For The Knappers, it's their first groundshare since the club was offered a new long-term lease under Woking Borough Council’s Community Asset Transfer Scheme in December 2025.

Speaking of the new groundshare agreement, Tony Hurley, Chairman of Dial Square, said: “We're delighted to have agreed a new groundshare with Knaphill.

"We're an ambitious club and the facilities and durability of the playing surface at Redding Way will support our development over the next few years.

“Moreover, the people at Knaphill have always been very helpful and welcoming, which was a significant factor in our decision too,” he added.

Meanwhile, Matt Fance, Football Secretary at Knaphill, said: “The groundshare with Dial Square represents another significant milestone in securing the club's [Knaphill] long-term future, as well as aiding our short to medium-term goals.

“It emphasises the progress that Knaphill has made on and off the pitch to make Redding Way a beacon for talent and opportunity.

“We look forward to working closely with Dial over the next few years to help to bring about prosperity for both clubs,” added Fance.

If, as expected, The FA National League System Committee allocates Dial to division one of the Combined Counties Football League in May, we could be playing our first league game at Brookwood Country Park Football Ground as early as the last Saturday in July.

For fans that haven't previously visited Knaphill, Dial will be playing Laleham at Brookwood Country Park Football Ground on 22 April after Laleham Recreation Ground was unsuitable to host the league fixture in midweek due to the absence of floodlights.
