Dial are delighted to confirm the appointment of Mike Kinsella to the position of Assistant Manager.
Kinsella, who steered Surrey Premier County Football League rivals Bagshot to safety last season, will join manager Steve Brown and fellow assistant manager Matt Bunyan to aid Dial's push for promotion to the National League System (steps 1-6 of the non-League pyramid) next season.
The former Farnham Town, Bedfont Sports and Chertsey Town defender, who was part of The Curfews' 2019 FA Vase winning squad, will be an integral part of Dial's football management team to help cultivate and accelerate players' performance.
Speaking of Kinsella's appointment, Brown said: "I have known Mike for many years; he's a winner and that’s the mentality we need at the club.
"He was part of Farnham Town's championship winning squad [to the Isthmian Football League] in 2023/24, so he knows what it takes to be successful.
"He’s on a similar management journey to me; he's eager to grow in the role and will be a real asset to the football management team to bounce ideas off, as well as bring his own ideas to improve performance. I’m really looking forward to working with Mike," added Brown.
In response to his new role, Kinsella said: "Dial Square has set an incredibly high ceiling, so being asked to be part of this journey is an honour.
"As a player, I was fortunate to experience three promotions, two play-off campaigns, and be part of Chertsey's FA Vase winning squad, so I know just how important it is to have a winning dressing room.
"During my time managing Bagshot, I believe I helped improve players' performance, but also to bring the best out of them as people. I know the league and just how close Dial came to achieving promotion last season, so the aim is to go one better next season," he added.
Dial's pre-season campaign will begin against newly-promoted Windsor & Eton (venue TBC) on 8 July. A full list of friendly fixtures will be published on 2 June 2025.
