FRITH AND CARTER RECEIVE TOP HONOURS

Celebrating another successful season

Dial Square held its annual end of season BBQ and presentation afternoon on 20 June to recognise the standout performers from the 2025/26 season.

George Frith scooped the coveted Players' Player of the Year Award after receiving an impressive 65% of the votes. The midfielder also received the Manager's Player of the Year from Dial boss Steve Brown, who paid tribute to Frith's influence throughout the promotion-winning season.

Elsewhere, Talisman Jordan Carter picked up the top goalscorer award after netting 14 times for The Dial in 28 appearances; an impressive return for a winger. It was a great way to round-off the player's third season with the club.

Attendees were also formally introduced to new coach, Jake Kennett, who took charge (along with Steve Brown) of his first training session in midweek, and physiotherapist Sandy Xaferri, who joins the football management team after graduating from St Mary's University (Twickenham).

There were special mentions too for several volunteers, including Anna and Chris Lee, Ali Rice and Pauline Hurley, for their unwavering support throughout the 2025/26 campaign.

Furthermore, there was also a special address from Knaphill President, Dave Holloway, to welcome Dial to Redding Way next season.

In addition, Brown gave a glowing encomium for the commitment and endeavour of Dial Chairman, Tony Hurley, since he joined the club in 2022.

This homage is extended to Hurley's fellow directors, Paul Humphries, Andrew Unwin and Matt Turner, with Humphries taking over as the club's new treasurer ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Well done and thank you to everyone for contributing towards Dial Square's success, both on and off the pitch.
