"I've been an Arsenal fan my whole life. Home and away games, European trips, I've been everywhere.
However, my feeling deep down since Sky TV was introduced, is that football at the top level has lost something.
Players are aloof and the connection between fans and team is waning.

Like the situation around the formation of FC Utd of Manchester, there had been talk for years amongst some fans regarding an Arsenal splinter club.
It was talked about a lot, but nobody had the gumption or proper know how to start one.
So, when I saw Stuart's message about becoming involved at Dial Square, I jumped on board.
Since the very first meeting we had when the squad were training and none of us had even met, I felt a belonging.
I remember the first pre-season game and felt so excited. I felt part of a club again. You can speak to the players after games, you can stand and chat to fellow fans during the matches, have great laughs, it's just fantastic.

Since forming and due to the coronavirus delaying plans, results haven't been the greatest, but sometimes that's not even what drives me.
I really enjoy watching the Square. The drive up on a Saturday, the anticipation of kick-off. I feel I'm part of something that once we really start to kick on after this pandemic, we will see our tiny club grow.

If you're like me and feel a bit distant from The Arsenal, don't hesitate to jump on board. I'll never, ever stop supporting The Arsenal, but Dial Square is my club now as well. I own a piece of it and I'm a part of it. That little corner of Surrey has stolen my affections.
