KINSELLA STEPS DOWN FROM MANAGEMENT ROLE

Former FA Vase winner praised for his contribution to Dial

We are disappointed to announce that Dial Square Assistant Manager Mike Kinsella has decided to leave the club following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.

Mike joined Steve Brown’s management team from Bagshot in May 2025. His experience and football acumen made him an instant hit with the players and management committee alike, which helped to guide Dial to their fourth promotion in five seasons.

However, due to work and family commitments, coupled with the travelling involved in the Southern Combination Football League Division One next season, Mike has taken the difficult decision to ply his management skills closer to home.

We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Mike for his professionalism and service to the club, from which he is always welcome to return.

Speaking of his departure, Steve Brown said: “It was a pleasure to work alongside Mike last season. He was level-headed and a great conduit between me and the players. I am very sad to see him go, but wish him all the very best. Hopefully, we will get a chance to work together again.”

Meanwhile, Mike said: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with the football club and would like to thank the players, volunteers and fans for their support over the past 12 months.

“I would also like to extend a special thanks to Tony Hurley, Andy Fitzsimons and Anna Lee on the management committee for their unwavering support and professionalism while with the club.

“I've really enjoyed working alongside ‘Brownie’ [Steve Brown] and to have been part of the club’s journey into senior football. Dial is a great club with fantastic people involved and I genuinely believe it will only go from strength to strength.

“Although it’s the right time for me to step away from the club, I’m proud of what we have achieved together and will always look back with fond memories.

“I wish the club nothing but success and I’m sure I’ll be back to watch a few games next season,” he added.
