It will be Dial’s second pre-season run-out after an impressive opener against and nigh-on full-strength Fleet Town (step 5) side last Saturday, which finished 2-0 to the Combined Counties League Premier Division South side.

Boss Steve Brown will again use the opportunity to look at several triallists as part of a condensed squad due to player-unavailability.

Like Dial, United completed the League and cup double last season after winning the uhlsport Hampshire Premier League (step 7) and beating Hartley Wintney Development team 4-1 to lift the Aldershot Divisional Football Association Saturday Intermediate (Mark Coombs) Cup at Aldershot Town.

Speaking to DialSquareFC.com, Brown said: “I was pleased with the players’ work-rate against Fleet Town. We were down on numbers, but had a game plan and we stuck to it.

The result was inconsequential; however, I thought we were composed in possession and created some really good changes. I'm looking for the players to show the same endeavour against Liphook," he added.
