After meeting Lightwater Utd a week earlier, it was the same opposition again yesterday for Dial Square, at Alwyns Lane.
Last week, The Dial ran out 1-0 winners in a fairly one-sided contest and it was more of the same yesterday, too.

This time, the team in Burgundy were ahead just after the first minute when new signing Adam Sewell steered home a loose ball, inside the 6-yard box. Then, dominance ensued as Dial Square looked very comfortable in all areas.

It was 2-0 with just 1 minute remaining before the break. That man Adam Sewell notched his second goal of the game and it was then into cruise control for Dial Square.
It got even better moments later when in injury-time, the home side won a penalty. Up stepped Perry Coles to convert easily to send The Dial 3-0 up at the break.

The intensity dropped in the second-half. It was huge credit to Lightwater Utd though, as they battled hard and started the half the much better of the two sides. Had it not been for such a strong Centre-Back pairing of Vass and Sewell (supported well from full-backs Alfie and Mcrobb), it could’ve been a nervy finish.

It wasn’t until the 89th minute that the away side did get a consolation for their hard work, but the game was done by that stage.
There was even time for The Dial to restore their 3 goal cushion in injury-time, when new signing Dembele finished, after showing some great work from the wing.

4-1 was the final score and the performances just keep on getting better for Dial Square.
