Dial Square let slip of their grip on the league title yesterday, after being held to a draw against the University of Surrey, at the Surrey Sports Park.
The Dial had Dan Sargent to thank for keeping the game at 0-0 for so long, but it was Perry Coles who got the first goal of the game. It was great work by Bunners to create the chance for Perry to grab his 6th goal of the season.
However, moments later, the Uni were level and managed to go into the break all square.
It was a lacklustre performance from the away side and with just under 20 minutes remaining, it got even worse for them, when they went 2-1 down. It seemed as though it would be one of those days, but George Lawrence rescued a point with an injury time equaliser.
It was most certainly a pointy gained, but it may not be enough to earn Dial Square their first ever trophy. It all goes down to the last day of the season, on the 25th March.
