Dial missed out on the opportunity to progress to the semi-finals of the Surrey FA Saturday Intermediate Cup after suffering a surprise 4-1 defeat away to Parkside on Saturday (1 March).

It was the second consecutive season that Steve Brown's side were eliminated in the last eight of the competition and at the same venue, Goals (Tolworth).

For Brown, it is was not so much the result but the manner of the performance. which saw the minnows come from behind to book their place in the next round, leaving the Dial boss seething after the match.
